screenshots would be nice.
Please explain why. I've pointed out the exact locations. Check it out for yourself, that's what I did.
If the actual author needs screenshots to help them with solving the issue, I'll gladly provide them.

I just played "Life of the Party" with an original version (v1.18) of the game upgraded with T2Fix v1.27e. I saw no black overlay on any door in the apartments. And while the secret door (or hatch) in Azaran's secret compartment below the place of his death looked notably darker once it was opened, it looked normal while it was still closed. And the hole itself had no black overlay for me either, whether closed or open.
Maybe this tells you why voodoo47 would like to have screenshots. He might not be seeing anything with his machine. We obviously see different things there.
I also believe this is a more general problem, it already came up in another forum while discussing some similar black holes or plate-like structures in a doorway of fan missions. And I saw a black "curtain" covering the secret door near the starting point of "Casing the Joint". AFAIK, this problem is part of an attempt to prevent AI's from seeing through closed doorways and similar structures (e.g., hatches). People dealing with this via DML fixes did not find a general solution, but needed to work around evey single instance of this problem separately. It also might be unrelated to AM16's work.

because checking the picture takes about 2 seconds, and there is a very good chance we would be able to tell what's up right away, vs chasing ghosts in the editor trying to figure out what you actually meant. this is common practice - you make helping you easier for us, we will help you faster.
