Am I Screwed?... BUT WAIT! - by JinSuzuki

Alright, in the main quest when the guy gives you corprus disease in the main dungeon you go back to Caius and he says to cure it, go to Tel Fyr and talk to the guy to cure it, alright, sounds easy enough so I go there and I fly up to his little tower and when I go to talk to him he says that I killed one of his inmates and he said he'll let me live with guild and the only option I can click in Goodbye!
Now, I was asking around in GameFaqs and when guy told me to get rid of that I could use the Calm Humanoid spell and the target glitch. He told me:
Any Spell That Can Use Target
Range: Target
Magnitude:0-0
Duration:1
Area:0
+
Calm Humanoid
Range: Touch
Magnitude: 100-100
Duration:1
Area:3
Did you ever try this and did it work? Also, when he says + does he mean I need to combine the two spells? How
Thanks for your time,
Jin

The guy at GameFAQs is obviously an idiot because...
* Soultrap glitch is evil.
* Fyr isn't attacking you, so therefore Calm Humanoid will do absolutely nothing...
* ...but make it so that you cannot legally kill any humanoid charachter for the rest of your natural life.

That said, what you need to do is either drench yourself in Telvanni Bug Musk or...
Player -> SetPersonality 1023
Player -> SetSpeechcraft 1023
...and he should say that all is forgiven. Give him a quick once-over with admire and use the same commands to set those attributes back to normal...
Player -> SetPersonality XX
Player -> SetSpeechcraft YY
...where XX is your original Personality value and YY is your original Speechcraft value.

I am using the Xbox version.

Then just drench yourself in the Bug Musk. He will forgive you if your personality is high enough. But don't forget to give the guy who told you to use Soultrap glitch a good tongue-lashing.

The alchemist under Skar in Ald-Ruhn has a flask or two of it, but I think that it's only respawned once every month. Try the pubs and apothecaries in Telvanni District (Sadrith Mora, Vos, and all those Tel-whatnots...). Fortify Personality potions will also work well, and they're much more avaliable. Try the regular apothecaries and alchemists in Ald-Ruhn, Vivec, Balmora, and other major cities...

alright, how many bottles should I put on ya think? 5, 6, 7, 8, 20?
sorry for all the questions but i really don't want to ruin my game, but i am level 14 and high up in ranks of guild and i don't feel like ruining my game just because of this.

Buy however many you can find, then use them in groups of two or three. Once he forgives you, admire him and sell back the rest for a pretty penny at Black Shalk or Nalcarya's place.

wow... the alchemist has 11, i'll buy all of em of 1050.
they may come in useful later if i have extras. ;)
Thanks a lot man, you were a real help. and thanks for clearing me out of those gamefaqs boards, after looking at some posts here, i think i will be here a lot.

You're welcome... By the way, did you notice that every post on this thread was posted exactly two minutes after its antecedent. Fucking strange.
