I did stand up in the hallway and I picked up the log, though I didn't read it (I have the code memorized). In the end, I had to use the speed run trick in order to get out in time (strafing while moving forward, it gives you a small boost in speed).
That's interesting; I checked your mis file and it is indeed 32 seconds, although I would have sworn that it was shorter.
It is a good idea, just maybe a few extra seconds would be desirable to give a little more room for error.
Or, if you didn't want to do that, you could drop a speed booster on the corpse in the room on the left from where you wake up.

The idea is that the player doesn't know the code (although pretty much everyone does), so you have to give him some extra time to read it. The best solution would likely be to just increase the times a bit.

I wondered if you were taking that into account, but then I figured that a first-time player probably wouldn't install any mods (although a second-time player might, and then probably still wouldn't know the code). In that case, I think you're right.
By the way, I just tested it on Hard, and there seems to be enough time there.
EDIT: The first Help computer you see after coming through the bulkhead into medsci2 doesn't light up when you frob it.

You really have a good eye  :)
The info comp was in the terrain, and the marker therefore wasn't visible. Fixed.

Thanks. I'm a nitpicker by nature, and a stickler for detail. I'll let you know if I find anything else. ;)
By the way, I love how you made use of those animations on the upgrade units that no one ever saw because they only happened once. They look a whole lot niftier with them.
EDIT: I noticed that on the recharge stations, the blue filter doesn't completely cover the particle flow behind it, so you can still see the light-blue particles at the top and bottom of the shaft.

So am I :) I would never release anything without testing it thoroughly, but things you see... I applaud thee mate. Feedback is welcome.

I'll say this for you: you definitely succeeded at making Impossible truly impossible. :erg:

Not true :sly:
People finished it pure OSA, Standard + Hack, Exotic + Energy, Heavy + Tech, etc.

Well go on Rainalkar, aren't you going to accept this glowing praise?
(that's not his change but you can forget about him mentioning such obviously petty details, keeping silent no matter the odds in order to preserve the carefully-constructed status quo where it's assumed he's made everything; same goes for the panels lighting up, and the decompression event, and generally just about every interesting effect that is likely to catch your eye)

You know that I respect your work and knowledge highly, and if you need it, I will say it: I am not up to your knees when it comes to shocked knowledge, I never will be even if I strive too. People like NV, you, Zygo, ZB, and others, make things moving. People like me can only do everything in their power, as limited as it may be, to show their affection to the game. In that regard, I am a match to anyone anywhere.
So, your remarks: didn't I thank everyone in person for their help and guidance, you including, didn't I say that gamesys was built from Populism's v1 (if I remeber correctly), or that Miracle.freak let me use his mis files? I asked everyone in person for this...
E.g. decompression isn't mine. In fact, it was made by Zygo in Randomiser, and he helped me, step by step, how to implement it in a different way, with the same result.
In fact, he tought me the randomising system as well. For example, if I make a full randomisation, it's not that I stealed it from Zygo... I would do it from scratch, invesing a lot of time in it, but many credit, as always, go to him.
In fact, he helped me so much in the past few weeks, that I had the need to apologize to him for this "harassment". But I'm not a competition (laugh) to you, or am trying to steal your work. I just do the best I can considering my knowledge.
