- Sharpshooter: bugged, gives no bonus whatsoever (do I need to mention that this is a balance disaster?).
Really? Is this true? I'm replaying SS2 right now and I would really like to know whether I should choose something else for my next OS upgrade instead of my usual Sharpshooter pick.

Sharpshooter gives +35% damage to ranged weapons (source scale of 1.35 applied)
Lethal weapon does the same for melee weapons.
It's the Lethal Weapon "damage bonus" gamesys parameter variable (which is set to 1.35 normally) that is shared by both Lethal Weapon and Sharpshooter, not the actual given bonus. Which means the Sharpshooter variable (1.15) is never actually used.

In short, Sharpshooter does not give any bonus whatsoever, save on paper. Lethal weapon applies for both melee and ranged weapons.
Meaning, never take Sharpshooter, always take Lethal Weapon.
Impossible to rectify unless NV makes some ingenious script to watch projectiles and correct their source scales :).

That's not what I said at all. Sharpshooter is a +35% real bonus to ranged and Lethal Weapon is a +35% real bonus to melee, Sharpshooter is not useless, it's better than what its default description says it is.

As far as I know, that is not true. Populism tested this (and I confirmed-tested it), changed Sharpshooter bonus to different values and it had no effect at all on damage output. +3000% is the same as +35%, that is, zero.
Sharpshooter bonus doesn't apply at all.
You are right, however, that the description of Sharpshooter sais 15%, while in Shocked you see 35%, but it's irrelevenat since the trait is bugged. Whenever you took Sharpshooter, you gained nothing ;).

Because the parameter labelled as Sharpshooter Stim Mult is not used.
Getting the Lethal Weapon trait applies the bonus from LethalWeapon Stim Mult to mélêe weapons.
Getting the Sharpshooter trait alsoapplies the bonus from LethalWeapon Stim Mult, but to ranged weapons.
Both traits work, they just use the same multiplier, which defaults to 135% damage.
To test this, set the lethal weapon bonus to something insanely high, like 500. Pick Lethal Weapon and then shoot someone with a gun. They will receive normall damge. Now pick Sharpshooter and shoot them again. They will die instantly.

Ah, I understand, thanks for clearing it up. When I tested I probably took Sharpshooter only, and since Lethal Weapon is set to 15% in my mod I didn't notice the difference.

- Added a decompression effect at the beginning of the game which steadily damages the player after a specific time that depends on difficulty.
You might want to adjust that a little, especially on Impossible. I just tried getting out of Cryo A starting out as soon as I could move, and I died before I could even pick up the battery to recharge it. And I had Agility 2.

The times are: unlimited on easy, 60sec on Normal, 45 on multi and hard, 32 on imp, trap is placed just after the doors when you climb the ladders. Perhaps I made it a bit too harsh, although it is doable on any difficulty; even on imp, with AGI1, if you make a run for it, read the note from the log in a few secs, you should have 2-5 secs extra :). Of course, you must raise when you run through the small hallway for extra speed :). Ok, I did went too far...
