No, I don't think so. Do I need to install it? I figured if the Rebirth and SHTUP mods are working, I wouldn't need it.

Um, how exactly is issues installing ADaOB relevant to AlyaMod?
Rainalkar on 12/1/2010 at 20:39
You should always install it. Then it will work for you.
NV is right, enough ot :)

lol Good point. I was up late last night and I guess I wasn't paying too much attention to the thread.
Anyway, I decided to go ahead with the activation without installing SS2 Tool just to see if it would work, and it does! Also activated the weapon mods. I quickly made it to Med Sci and just ran around to see if I would experience any issues/notice anything out of the ordinary, but thankfully I didn't. Does that mean I'm in the clear, or is the potential for issues later on still there? And if I did choose to install SS2 Tool, how would I go about it if I don't have a fresh install of System Shock 2? I have saved games, I've modified a file or two, and I've activated all these mods. Would it be a hassle at this point or should I do it anyway?

What should I do beforehand, though? Deactivate all my mods? Remove MM? Or can I just install it regardless of what I've done?
Rainalkar on 12/1/2010 at 22:19
Don't know really. I always installed it first. Others will now better. I would just backup my save positions and make a fresh install.

Rainalkar's right; if you're going to install SS2Tool, it should be on a clean install of SS2 to avoid problems.
