*SPOILERS*
alrighty. so i'm pretty far into the main quest (so it seems) but i was wondering....that dude that gives me corprus says that dagoth ur would like to join together with me rule the galaxy as father and son, but me, being the good, slave freeing orc that i am, didn't even give it a thougt. but can i do that? as in, is there an EVIL side to morrowind? cause that would be kickin' rad (thanks spanglican) and i would start a new game just for that.

Sadly, there's only way to finish the game, and that's to beat Dagoth Ur. You can't turn to the dark side and join him, although there are many things in the game which would lead you to believe that you can. The conversation with Dagoth Gares, for example; it's really quite misleading, IMO.

But if you are interested in a trip to the dark side, you could try getting bit by a vampire! Ahh sweet darkness:ebil:
Not a part of the main quest, but still a walk on the wild side!

When you talk to Dagoth Ur, it kinda explains how you can't join him(he's one of those angsty evil insane types, like my last bf...)

so i just beat it....i'm kind of let down. it seemed like a whole lot of build up for not a whole lot. i even upped the difficulty to 25. i think if they had made each individual citadel an actual citadel it would have taken longer, but just shortness wasn't the only problem. when vivec first started talking i was like "wow, i bet this is where the game REALLY pick up" cause it seemed like it would. but it really didn't. when i was reading the documents he gave me they said buzzwords like "assault" and "war" and cool stuff and i figured i'd have ordinators and bouyant armigivers fighting alongside me...but to no avail. just like a fighters guild mission with a bit more story. oh well, it was still cool.
now i'm gonna become a morag tong assassin.
