Hrm... while I've definitely over-used it over the course of the last day or two, it's mostly because it's consistently garnered such an... enthusiastic response. ;)
I've a not-so-casual interest in most of the genre, but I'm of the opinion (rare, it sometimes seems) that such is best when founded on a strong, trusting relationship. Based on that, most classify me as a dilettante; it's not accurate, but I've tired of arguing the point. But enough of deep philosophising regarding BDSM, neh? ;)
