I've been trying to figure out how to add some Centurions to my MOD, but the only ones I can find premade are script dependant. Any way to make one 'friendly' or alter a premade one without scripting it?

Your best bet is to probably check the Pack Rat you can hire and see what they do with that. I think you have to set a Companion variable to 1, and just copy the script from that onto the Centurion. But that's where I'd look first. :)

Thanks, but huh? Speaka non-scripteze, please.:)
I checked around for a Pack Rat and the script for it, but I couldn't do what I think you said. I don't know what you mean by 'hire' since I've never seen this character in game.
What's this about setting a Companion variable to 1? Is scripting needed to do what I want? I don't want another companion if that's what it does. I just want the ones at the character's Telvanni stronghold, but without having to wait for the thing to be built before getting them.

Aww, but scripteze is my native language. :)
And my mistake - I thought you wanted a Centurion to follow you around. Just move a centurion to whereever and give it a new ID. That will let you modify just that one with impunity. Then save it to a plug in. Copying the one of the Telvanni Centurions is your best bet - then you can remove the script.

Thank you very much. I was getting sick of reusing the same old Imperial guards everywhere and coming up with new NPCs is a pain. This will settle the problem for me nicely. Now I have to figure out a way to get rid of the choppy FPS issue.:erg:
