Heh, been quite a while since I posted here, I should get back into it :) In any case, last summer I converted every single level from Ultima Underworld to Unreal Tournament... I just kinda forgot to tell people about it :D. So, go to and grab it at (
http://www.epicclass.com) Epic Class Productions.

Thats it. Youve just given me another reason to buy UT. The other is of course Orgy's Thievery.

Purdy!!!
I assume the architecture was imported directly from the original level data in some fashion, and then textures replaced where appropriate (also largely automated?) and then all the details done by hand?
Lovely stuff.

but, aren't those UT maps too big for a classical use ?

Nope, the archetecture is NOT imported :) I used the wonders of grid paper.
Besides, if it were imported I could never do the cool stuff I did with it (like the arched ceilings).
And yes, the maps are a bit big, I know. But not excessivly so. 16 player games are great, 12 players are still playable. 4's a bit of hunting, but you'd be surprised how small the maps actually seem once you're not crawling through them in UW, but blasting through in UT.

Yikes. That must have taken ages! The results are fabulous, though!!
