I have to admit that stupidity is annoying, but the tricky thing about it is that what is considered stupidity is entirely relative. I'm not trying to make friends with everyone, but I figure that it probably doesn't hurt to avoid making enemies. As far as I can tell, this is an adult forum, and as such I think it's only fair that people who come here be prepared for *some* amount of aggression. It's just that the more mature ones can be the bigger man and choose not to reply altogether instead of posting replies intended to hurt or belittle someone. A little negativity is probably even necessary for some debates, but I think some of us can do a better job at directing the negativity towards the subject matter and not the other person. It's easier said than done, as I know personally, but some of us don't seem like we're even trying.

Hi and welcome woodsiegirl! Don't be offended when the ComChat Elite more established TTLG members tell you to 'Lurk more'. Coming to ComChat for the first time is kind of like walking into a strange party where you don't know anybody but everyone else has known each other for years.
According to one member Sheer Force of Personality will help the regulars here in CC be more receptive to you. I say it's more like perseverance, determination, and a strong will to survive.
The upside is that these guys can provide a never ending source of amusement.
