I kind of liked the AvP marine sequences. I don't if it was the one with 'Frosty' and Tamiko, or if it was the other, but one of them, on the marine stages, scared the hell out of me.

Screenshots do look good. Even got the facehugger looking like a flying vagina.

But what's with all the "Pulse rifles at 2 feet?", or rather, why aren't there screenshots of the painful acid related death that you get doing that stuff?

No obvious racial variety + no female marines. Not even remotely in the spirit of the Aliens movie. Crap screen shots.

I agree! I remember being inspired by Aliens' message of racial unity and camaraderie among the sexes back when I was a kid.

So here I am, all excited and tingly that they're making a game off one of my favorite movies...and what do I get? A bunch of white guys with big guns running around dark corridors screaming and getting killed by bug looking things. That is not in the spirit of the movie I fell in love with back in the 80's! It doesn't even have Dijon, the sassy French chef!

Oh well, another great movie sacrificed for more "mainstream" appeal so it'll sell to the teeming ignorant masses. This is one game I will NOT be playing. Fuck you, Fox. Fuck you for ruining my childhood.

And fuck EA too, for good measure.

IIRC, of the 2 black marines and 3 female marines, precisely 1 last til the battle in operations, with both blacks and a woman killed in the C level, and the female pilot eaten 5 minutes after then C level battle. And Vasquez was practically a man anyway.

So, it's really just a late game screenshot.
