I thought it was pretty much meant to be a rip-off of a lot of the comic.
Anyhow, the main female character teaming up with a predator was part of the comic, along with the predators using aliens as hunting material. In the end the predator gets killed by the queen while they're fighting it.
No pyramid or Earth though. It was set in the future on a desert planet.
