Trouble is, the poster is great - so what. The Prometheus trailer was AMAZING and how did that turn out? The Covenant trailer sucks so maybe the movie will be brilliant. Probably not, since the stuff that sucked was all the stuff that a movie needs to be good.

Giger passed away in 2014, and the poster doesn't match his normal work, which was never that particular wash of stark monochrome. As far as the movie goes, it'll be what it'll be. No one's saying trailers or posters ever reflect the final quality of the film they represent; there's no harm in appreciating a nicely executed image in the meantime.
