Until March 16th, you can download Lewis Carrol's classic "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" in audiobook format for free from Books'naudio. Read by Michael York. (

Always looking for a new book to listen to on my 25 minute commute. Between work and errands, I may spend 2 hours a day in my car. Radio drives *no pun intended* me crazy these days, so I have moved on to audio books and podcasts. Thanks for the heads up, man.

You're all welcome. I can't take all the credit; my mom e-mailed it to me this evening. I've never gotten the chance to read it myself, and I figured others may be in the same boat (or may not be, but would still want it).

I have never actually read it either.

:thumb: Thanks. I just DLd it converted it to WAV and burned a three CD set for the car. No MP3 in the car CD player.
It's a great story, handled well by Yorke.
Thanks again. :thumb: :thumb:
I've read both Through the looking Glass, and Alice in Wonderland. But this will take up that slack during the rush hour. :)

Obligatory: (

Some are hack jobs, some are professionally done, all are free and legal to download. User ratings should help weed out the bad ones.

Thanks doctorfrog! I've been thinking about putting some audio books on the ipod, and listening to them on my daily 1.5 commute. Now I have a good reason to. They're free!

Sweet, now I can annoy my co-workers with audio books.
