Link between your provider and the google ads broken?
D'Juhn Keep on 9/11/2005 at 20:57
I was having a bit of trouble with that. Both TTLG and Planetia were just refusing to open at all because pageads wasn't loading. Which is a bit bloody annoying.

Weird, it sounds like an issue your end, rather than with GoogleAds as a whole as, I believe, the server ditches GoogleAds for the Thief2X, Photocraft, CoSaS banners etc if it can't get the relevant information from them.

A question about the ads. When I searched for 'banana', the pages that were found contained ads for bananas on eBay. I've also found ads for drunken whores (don't ask) on eBay, etc this way. Obviously there's some dynamic content generation going on here, I'm just curious as to why searching does this.

You might try adding *.googlesyndication.com to your blocked sites in IE, or getting the AdBlock extension for Firefox and blocking it that way.

Ajare, it seems that Google ads also react to words highlighted via "highlight=bananas" in the URL.

I tryed ad block and it blocked the ads for about 5 minutes, then it blocked ttlg.com, and it wont unblock now so I had to disable it.

Ummm... okay, you should be able to go to TOOLS > EXTENSIONS (in Firefox) then select AdBlock and click "Options" to view/edit the list of blocked sites.
