I got the quest from the temple in Vivec to get the Shoes of St. Rilms from Ald Sotha. I searched the place up and down and I still can't find them. Anyone know where they're at?

I'm sure you went back and found it again. It took me a few searches, but after looking again with night-eye I found them.
[SPOILER]There's a chest right behind the statue of Mehunes on the stage. You have to get to it from the back side since you can't walk under the statue.[/SPOILER]
I usually find it's something stupid like that when I can't find something that has to be there... just overlooking it. Like the one Telvanni Sewer Rat that kept running just out of my line of sight... ugh.
