quick question, when doing that quest in Ald' Run for the theif guild that requires you to steal that item from the mages guild... where is it? ive looked everywhere and just cant seem to find it, is it in some hidden room somewhere or what?

You need to ask him directly about the quest and make sure that you have the quest selected. I did this for about an hour before I figured this out. If the quest is active you will see that the guard attacks right away and he is the only one in the one in the mage guide. He's a sissy and goes down quick. After that its in the chest where the alchimest was. "Aneneraan" or something. His tonto is in the chest.

tnx... his post is off but i do remember an earlier quest i did for a khajit in peligald that had me kill a buncha cammara tong, one of them had a demons tanto on him, wonder if i could have just used that (long sold though, just a curiosity)
