Here are two of my favourite album covers lately:

These people (boy and girl) look real and the photo seems like a perfect snapshot. The torn parts help to make it appear even more authentic. Apparently 65daysofstatic are keeping the white block and lettering on top, only exchanging titles and photos for other singles. And I can see why, it looks classic and modern.

It looks like a failed print with the magenta part and printer test bars, but that just gives this natural image another highly artificial dimension. Without these it probably would have been too cute. I'm not too fond of the lettering, although it takes the cue from the rest of the picture it doesn't do anything worthwhile with it. And the title has no apparent connection with the image. I expected electronic music behind this. But I actually hadn't heard the music until just now. It's weird. Certainly something different.
