Read the earlier posts, I gave a secret way of beating him with little or no damage. Climb one of the slanted pillars, and cast levitate. If you are at the right height, you can float right over his head and whack him with your weapon to death with very little damage.

when he turns into akbaa i float over his head and hit him really hard.i keep hitting him but i run out mana.what should i do!!!!!!:eww: :erg:i have no mana potions

If you do not have a weapon and are a magician, then I am not sure. Check the walkthru.

I defeated him once as a rogue with a bow. That was quite easy. The second time it took my close combat warrior about 35 minutes (with some reloads) and I had to use some supportive spells, like Heal, Protective shield and Bless. And I was quicksaving quite often.

Then keep floating over him and whack him to death. Make sure you are actually hitting him or he will not take damage. The heighth has got to be just right.
