So theres 3 different times at which you can kill Agent Navarre - the 747 - the subway - the lobby.
Last time i played, i fought her in the subway - i find that she dies quite easily with a full clip of the AR Rifle at close range and hitting her always in the torso.

Am I the only fool who tried to save Lebedev by Tranquing him? Worked, too. Well, kinda...
(Tranquing? 'Zat a word? Oh well)

I suppose Lebedev ends up dead anyway? I'd love to hear what juicy gossip he was about to tell me.I had the same problem -- one LAM didn't work. I planted two LAMS in the hallway of the 747 and she walked through the first one again, but the second one sent Anna bits all over the place.
I had tried shooting her with several guns but got whooped every single time.

??? Was Deux Ex just released for Dreamcast, or something? Can't believe people are still playing this (Not that anything good's come out for the PC in the last 6 months....)
Just curious; my E-mail box was full of message board notifications from all the new posts!!

I still play System Shock, and it came out 7 years ago (and I got it when it came out).
Age is immaterial, we still enjoy Deus Ex, it's still fantastic, and it's irresistible gravitational pull always pulls us back for 'just one more go'

I jsut started playing Deus Ex . My Pc is getting a little long in the tooth (PII 300) so i haven't been shopping for it, but I have a heavily augmented mac g4 at work. So its all new to me, and I must say, it kicks ass.

What happens if you never harm Navarre? Does she force a showdown?

Good point, buglunch... when do we get to use the Flatlander Woman phrase?
Also, what happens if you don't save Savage's daughter? Or do you have to?
Must play game again... such fun!

If you don't kill Navarre in the plane or in the subway, she comes to visit you in your jail cell just before Daedalus springs you. After the escape, UNATCO HQ is under lockdown (as it always is at that point, actually) and Anna is guarding the main door. Alex won't relenquish the key to the door until you deal with her as he's scared of her retaliation. So at one of these three points you must kill Anna or you cannot proceed (the door in question is INF/INF, can't be picked or blown up, and Alex is invulnerable so you can't loot it off of him). The message from Gunther about being unable to forgive the killing of Agent Navarre does make a great deal more sense with this last option, but fighting her in the tight, brightly lit corridors of UNATCO is a pain and so is getting her killphrase from the two separate computers.

The main problem with Anna is that unlike most other NPCs, she fights to the death. Everyone else will eventually wimp out and run away (even Simons and Hermann).
Also: If you don't save Paul, you'll see either Jacobson, Carter, or Savage giving the last speech (apparently at random).
