After it all... can I get away with it? - by Lacerta

*spoilers alert!* (Though I think everyone currently on the forum is way past this point.. this is the first time I've ever got near completing the main quest!)
Right.. I'm just about to go and fight the big bad at the end of Morrowind for the first time (I know, not Tribunal, not Bloodmoon, just the original - I kind of gave up the first time through and have just come back to it!)
What I want to know is, I want a full set of daedric armour, and there's only one place I know to get it without pfaffing around the whole island... so..
Once I've killed Dagoth Ur, can I go and kill Divayth Fyr (in Tel Fyr corprusarium, I think his name is Divayth) without any penalty? I have obviously been cured of Corprus already. I guess what I'm saying is, is anyone in Morrowind required for Tribunal quests?
I also want to kill the slave trader in Tel Aruhn
the one who you buy the bride off
because I really hate slave traders.
Thanks muchly for info.
The scaly one.

Yes, once the main quest is over you can kill him (you'll probably still get messages about having broken the quest etc but you can ignore them). All of the Tribunal quests only need NPCs from Tribunal, not the main isle. Bloodmoon, however does place one NPC on the mainland who you can get a quest from.

If you kill Divayth Fyr, don't forget to loot the house. You may find some interesting items (read : some of the best items in the game).

If you have all the expansions, you don't need to kill him to get the armour.
Also, if you are any good at casting spells and stealing... you also don't have to kill him for his armour.

How's that work? I had a plan to disintegrate his armor, knock him out, and steal it, but they removed the KO feature in the first patch. Bah!
But Striker's right. UESP is down right now, but I can tell you that in Tribunal, there is a Daedric Cuirass and Left Pauldron in the Wailing Delve section of the Norenen-dur Shrine. If you have the Bloodmoon expansion there is a Daedric Right Pauldron on top of Castle Karstaag (in the tower; it's hard to find.)

Disintegrate his armour, cast calm humanoid then use chameleon to sneak and steal it from his inventory while he's awake.
What? I never said it'd be easy.

Especially with all the magicka disintergrate armour costs. I once removed all the armour and weapons off all the balmora gaurds so they were running around in their pants and bare top trying to punch me.

Ah... How could I forget about that? Still, that's not easy at all. Just disintegrating the armor will take hours. I remember I got his pauldrons, greaves, and boots disintegrated before I just got fed up.

Pile up restore magicka potions, can't take that long. When I was removing all the armour and weapons off the balmora gaurds I used a character with 1600 magicka so I could be alittle prejudgice.

Well, I went back to see him and he angrily asked me if I was "going to fulfill the nereverine prophecies?" Being a redguard character I certainly wasn't going to kick out every other non-dunmer, so I didn't feel bad about killing him. I founf that just taking things off his shelves was enough to get him to attack. No messing about, just a quick one-two with sunder (well, ok, a bit of a beating.. but it worked.)
