Advise me my people - USB multicard reader and USB hub - which one?

I need one now. Ideally a card reader and USB hub. External preferably, so I can use it on other machines.

Anyone got any good recommendations for readers that are uber and which work nicely in Vista? I've been searching the usual shopping sites and there doesn't seem that much to separate them.

Just don't get (http://www.iogear.com/product/GUH284R/) this one. Despite being a USB 2.0 hub, the built-in card reader is only USB 1.1!! Kinda defeats the purpose...

Sounds like you're all set. As far as I have been able to tell they are pretty basic little things, and the only issue to be sure it actually works correctly (my wife had one that wouldn't write to SD cards - it would read everything and write to all the other format, just not SD!), and of course that everything is properly USB 2.0.

Other than that, sticking with a reputable brand name for basic durability and quality's sake is always wise and worth the extra expense.
