Quite recently, me and a m8 from school started making a puzzle/maze mod for morrowind. we have managed to do quite a bit already, and have a lot more planned. However, i would like this mod to be other peoples ideas as well, not just ours. So, if you have any ideas for any puzzles or strange types of mazes you want us to include, we would greatly appreciate it :thumb: Obviously, we dont want every1 to know what puzzles we are making ;) , so please send it to us at [email]indorilneverar@yahoo.com[/email] or PM me.
Also, in case any of u r wandering, we are planning to release a beta version somewhere between 1week + 2 months. I cant say more accurate than that cause we are both in school so we dont have as much time as we would like :mad: and (as any other modders out there likely know) you have to be in the mood to mod if u want to do anything like a good job.
Oh, and one other thing. We were hoping to add in some new models, but we are having trouble finding a 3d moddeling tool that is compatible with morrowind. If possible, we would obviously want a free one (even if its just a trial). so if you have any suggestions on that, or have any questions about the mod, please tell us/ask. :thumb:

I can finish the mod without advice, but i would like to have some input. the beta ver will be released soon, so i want to get as much done as possible. ure ideas/suggestions would help a lot with that. so plz say something, even if its just 'i think a puzzle mod for morrowind would suck, so dont bother putting it on the internet' or 'i think a puzzle mod would be great'. i dont care what u say, as long as u say something soon :erg:

I don't think I would personally like a puzzle mod. I can't think of any ideas so I'm no help. And it is rather hard to get ahold of 3D modelling tools compatiable with MW and I don't think anyone here has any experiance with that so...yeah...

well, thx 4 at least responding (no1 else has said ANYTHING) & for being honest. it was obvious when we started that not everyone would enjoy a MW puzzle mod, and we weren't going to put it on the internet untill people on various forums took an intrest. but as soon as i actually asked 4 advice, every1 ignored the thread :mad: . now im getting the feeling that there's something really bad/dumb about making a puzzle mod, and its kinda annoying. :erg:

Why don't you put it off. Whenever you think of a REALLY great idea for a puzzle write it down, then after a few months and you have plenty of really great ideas you can make a really great mod (and perhaps you might have had some practice making other mods during that time). Ok, so only a small percentage of people will be interested in a puzzle mod but if they download it and its their favourite mod then they will most likely convince people who aren't normally interested to try it and then all of a sudden it will become popular and you will become famous and rolling in lots of cash...oh wait, we don't get paid and people don't pay much attention to who made the mod...damn...

Actually, something else I forgot to mention - Not many hardcore modders frequent these forms. I know Cyrano is very good at modding and scripting, but he leads a busy life and probably wouldn't have the time.

well, i have been thinking up about 1 idea/month, but recently i've been slowing down, and was just wandering if any1 did have anything they wanted me 2 include.
For any1 who does want to try it out, i will hopefully be posting a beta ver online in about a week.

This thread reminds me of the guy who did a fully functional Tetris mod for in-game play. That was cool, but a bit pointless.
