I haven't been able to get it working in Thief 2. The game starts, but it kicks me back to the desktop. The background sound continues to play, and there's a dead spot on my screen where my mouse cursor vanishes, and the sounds of the menu buttons trigger when I move my invisible mouse over them. I can blindly navigate to load a new game, but as soon as it loads, the game properly crashes.

Nice. It works quite well in darker Thief levels, though as soon as you open a book you have to disable the effects, since most of the letters get drowned in bloom.

Never liked bloom, and always turn it off if given the option. I really like the default Dark Engine rendering, and with high-res widescreen and forced AA/AF it looks magnificent. Not that attempts to better the game shouldn't be commended. It just looks a bit off to me personally.

Since ENB only works with directx9, only an older version of ddfix must be used: 1.1.1
I really hope Timeslip gives dx9 another try (there are minor graphical issues with it)
SS2 crashes to the desktop A LOT with that version. I.e. every time you search a body.
You can live with no fog in T2. An unplayable game though? Nah.

One thing that no one has touched on is the way thief displays that (8bit looking) gradation that is visible when you look from the light-source to the edge of the lit area.... will the "bloom hack" smooth this out, or is the graduation Im seeing just poorly done rendering on the mission in the first place..?
