Can I add an object to an AI belt in game?
The idea is this: the AI has a closed bag on belt, after frobbing the item is added to inventory, and closed bag is replaced with an open bag. Probably the replaced object must have a DetailAttachement link.

Could you just change the object model, instead? You could use a tweq to change the object model after the frob. That sounds like an easier approach to me, but what you propose may be possible as well.

You could probably use NVLinkBuilder to add a Contains link and set location to Belt.

You could also attach the open bag to their belt but have alpha 0.0 in a custom metaprop on it to make it invisible. Then you can use a script or receptron to remove the metaprop when the visible closed bag is frobbed.
