Do you mean the little smuggler's cave near seyda neen?
Well if you do it isn't a 'quest' to kill the smugglers just a... suggestion... so there isn't a npc you need to talk to just go and kill the smugglers, take their stuff, and if you're in a good mood free the slaves. :)

Good, because I have freed the slaves and killed the slavers( not that I had a chance since they were attacking me before I knew what was happening).
I was just curious, because I spend my Morrowind time just exploring and wandering around; and there are a lot of quests with npc that start them around.

Yes, I did and I like it very much just because of the name.
I play as a thiefish character and love The dark Project .
