I'm pretty sure I will, although I might not buy it at the release date, because I'm afraid I'm going to have to upgrade my computer first.

Anyway, apart from a few things that I didn't like, the gameplay video looked like a very "Thiefy" experience to me. Of course it's not exactly like classic Thief, as it's not even supposed to be, it's EM's own take on the series and their own ideas, but so far things are looking good enough to me. Obviously there's still a year to go until the release date, so it's way too early to judge the game on those gameplay videos alone... I have a feeling that a lot of things will still get changed, and hopefully for the better. :p

Yes, I think so. The most important feature seems to be there: The satistfaction of exploring a big non-linear-level all on my own, finding new ways and tricks on each playthrough. New HUD elements don't bother me as much, especially since they said many of them can be turned off. XP can be a nice thing. It would be cool to spend skill points and personalize my own Garret. And they still hve plenty of time until the release so I'm sure they'll fix some of the annoyances like the hands or the takedowns. I hope they'll include a level editor. But in this day and age we'll probably get DLCs :(

If those become available, sure. But let's get real. They aren't really a thing any more. I still stand by my original words and don't appreciate being censored, but I suppose an interpretation of the forum rules could take what I said and apply it to that.
