My editing install is at "C:\Program Files\Thief3 Edit" and it hasn't given me any problems. Maybe I'm lucky?

Well, clearly that's not the problem then. Looking at the log there, it says that it was able to read the ini files, but couldn't get the keys. Have they been corrupted somehow?
It may also be the case that the installation went wrong somewhere. Heimdale wouldn't be the first person to have to install the editor more than once.

If the pathname has spaces, you cant modify the conversations or sound schemas properly, and so can't add objective to the map.
If it interfere's with anything else I can't remember.

I'm having the same problem, No Texture browser, I noticed when I load T3Edit that I see a flash of what may be the browser but it's gone just as quick. I've reloaded three times now with the same results
Any other thoughts would be appreciated
