Hey.. I have a level 18 mage... on my Xbox Morrowind I went to the Tower of dusk and wanted to complete my Glass armor set. Well... I noticed lots of the people there had Glass armor on. So I killed them ALL and took it all. Anyways, Now guards aren't giving me a chance to pay off the 8k price on my head. :( They're just killing me on sight. Is there ANY way I can get the price off of my head OTHER than joining the Thieve's guild?

well as far as i know there is no other way, improbably wrong but you may be able to pay off your bounty without joining just go to them and ask to see. otherwise you gotta join.:p hope that helps

If you're on the PC, you can bring down the console and type
player->setPCCrimeLevel 0
