Just got the following e-mail... How come I can still post here (I just tested it in another thread) if my account has been locked out? :erm:

Tomi,
Your account on TTLG Forums has been locked because someone has tried to
log into the account with the wrong password more than 5 times. You
will be able to attempt to log in again in another 15 minutes.
The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address:
xxx.xx.xx.xx
Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your
password? Use the link below:
(
http://www.e-thug.net) (haha, it's not this one
really)
All the best,
TTLG Forums team
Now, who's been trying to log in as me? :weird: Or could it be possible that it's not a real person, "just" a computer virus or something? I have no idea.
I can see the IP address in the mail (I replaced it with x's here), is it possible to see more information about it somewhere?
Any help would be appreciated, this isn't the first time this happens. Someone's tried to request and guess my password before as well.

Please PM me the entire contents of the email, including IP address.
Thank you.

Already sent a PM to you.

The IP address doesn't match anyone here, which is a good thing.
Its a Mexican IP addy, for your information. Not a lot we can do about it :erg:

Alright, that's a good thing indeed.
Bloody Mexicans, always causing trouble at TTLG! You'd better hold your sombreros, amigos, because I'm coming to knock you out! :p

They had problems with Mexicans on Starchat, too (the home of #thief, for those unaware).
Coincidence? I THINK NOT
