My former character had it.... The present one doesn't. And it seems this spell is not for sail as I can't find it among the spells offered to buy... Can you direct me if there is a place I'm looking for? I got used to it - it was very helpful in fighting creatures....

Thaurron and Marc Gulitte in Anvil, Trevaia in Anvil's Chapel, Volanaro in Bruma and Borissean at the Arcane University all sell varying versions of spells with this effect.
EDIT: Thaurron is the only one that sells the low-level one you're used to, I think.

what does the "varying versions" mean? Level needed to obtain the spell? Or other differences?

Yes, by 'varying versions' I mean that some will have the novice-level spell, some a journeyman-level spell etc.
Much of my advice comes from my own experience; some does not, but I can usually find it fairly quickly. This was an example of the latter. ;)
