I have a friend who also hates hates his dad, and wants to change his name, although he will undoubtibly use a lotr elven name or somthing. Congrats, I know through him somewhat why you feel like that.

changing your name aint gonna solve shit, you are still the same person, your family is still the same people. Its kinda like the time I changed my underpants, thinking a brand new world was gonna open up before me, but boy was I wrong!
