A terrible introduction... - by Blarg14224

Hello everyone, I'm a long time lurker of the forums but really had no need to start threads (Bless the search button). However, this time the thread button cold not serve me.
My dilemma is simple, I am on the fifth trial and am the hortator of all the great houses and the nerevarine to all the tribes except the Zainab. My guess is that somewhere while I was accumulting my current 25 levels to my pure fighter I had crossed paths with the zainab. Not being an ashlander they naturally took offense to me, being the mellodramatic person I am, I instantly dealt the punishments for their insolence, killing every pedestrian in the camp. However, this can not be confirmed nor denied, since I do not remember. But, when I talked to the wise woman the message that I had slain a tribe member had crossed my screen, what am I to do? Is there any way to solve this problem or is it game over for my little Orc friend?
I don't know if this matters but it is an Xbox version and my character is an Orc custom character at lvl 25 (230 hp) (100 strength) (180 agility) (140 endurance) (300 speed) low everything else.
He has these items.
-Daedric Battle Axe (Primary Axe)
-Daedric crescent (Primary long sword)
-Demon Long bow (Can anyone tell me where to find a Daedriclong bow?)
-Dwarven crossbow (Haven't looked for anything better)
-Umbra (Lying around in balmora)
-Ice blade of the monarch (Balmora)
-Daedric other crap. in balmora as well.
Favored armor
-Daedric pauldrons (Haven't bothered enchanting yet)
-Daedric bracers (same)
-Cuirass of the savior's hide/ Lord's mail (Pending on situation)
-Boot of blinding speed/Daedric boots.
-Oreyn Bearclaw's helm/ masque of clacivius (something like that.. costant effect +40 personality)
My favorite rings and crap are just..
-vampiric ring
-and a ring which gives +40 agility constant effect.
I ditched my other stuff because it was cluttered and annoying.
Forgve my spelling... my keyboard i shot and thesefrums won't letme add spaces :{ angst. Counting the spelling errors in thismakes me shameful *cries*... ny suggestions to help would be apreciated... and I did search... forsythe :} (You seem to be the gatekeepr of the forums... the dissapearance of the dwarves thread wa ineresting).
Oh, and I have been where many have not... shelled out 40000 gold early game to enchant an amulet that opens 100-100 locks :} Train security I shall not :} ... besides, thanks to the bitter cup my intelligence is 12 lol.

I think your bloodthirty self forbids you to go on in the main-plot. I would suggest the backdoor way to finish the mainquest, but I saw that you´re wearing the daedric-pauldrons (killed fyr I guess) so that way would closed too.
Looks like a restart (and try somewhat more pacifistic next time).

Killing D. Fyr shouldn't matter. You didn't kill the fat dwarf on spider legs down in the corpusarium did you? Good, he's the man...er dwarf you need. Go to Vivec the city and kill Vivec the god. Take from him the unique dweomer artifact and all the papers on the podium. See the dwarf. You need a high reputation and/or a disposition from the dwarf of around 90. He'll agree to help but needs some notes. The planbook is in the citadel Tureynulal and the journals in Endusal. Both are inside the Ghostfence. Bring these back to the dwarf and he will activate wraithguard from the dweomer artifact. the first time you equip wraithguard it does 200 some odd points of damage and then works normally. BAD NEWS.... THE DAMAGE IS PERMANENT. No way around it I've found. Build more levels to add to your hps. Get the sword Keening, the hammer Sunder and off you go to Dagoth Urs house. Read the papers you got from Vivec to find the exact procedure to kill Ur.

I wonder... is there any way of getting around taking the 200 health damage by selling the wraithguard to a merchant and letting them take the health damage when they put it on? The merchant would probably die leaving you to loot his or her corpse and take back wraithguard...:ebil: It probably wont work but i thought i'd ask any way. :erg:

*grin* Cute idea; too bad the engine isn't quite that flexible, though... as WK quotes in (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=56417) one post, the code calls player->modhealth - and that means that even if the merchant were able to wear it and trigger this script, then it'd still affect you. :p

LOL well I had a laugh thinking about it or more in particular which merchant i'd sell it too... That annoying little bosmer armourer in Balmora maybe...

You are still ok to do the main quest.........I was only Neravarine to Urshilaku and Hortator of all houses. I just walked into the cavern of the neravarine or whatever its called cant give you exact location but i know its in the mountains kind of near tel vos. I activated the statue and went on with the quest. I also went on to talk to that person at the High Fane got vivec palace key talked to the old fool killed him.Trapped his soul:ebil: .Then just head into ghostgate and do as vivec instructed.

Thanks for the help... I'm thinkin of restarting anyway. As when I began the game, I was "bored" an wandered for 6-12 levels... killing people I felt the need to (Such as Fyr for the armor after he helped me (I guess I'm more iteresting now huh? =) ) Anyway, I killed a guy for the Deadric face of terror in ghostgate... low diposition and everyone would shock me before I could kill him alone... so I imply killed the entire basement level :} that hurt... as a quest to becoming a knight required one of them :/
Going to start an imperial custom char guess. Longblade and Marksmanship for major skills (Get Umbra and Dwarven crossbow quickas possible) Medium and light armor (Bonemold/Indoril + Cuirass of th Savior's hide and boot of blinding speed). Alchey as major skill. Minor skills: Security, Axe (Quick leveling), Heavy armr (endurance), and some otercrap. I just nee to be able to get into allguilds easily (my Orc couldn't get into thieves =( first time that happened to me.

Actually as long as the player takes the papers off of the podium behind vivec and presents them to the dwarf then he doesnt need a high disposition or reputation, the dwarf will agree to help anyway. At least on xbox.
Note that this should only be done after getting cured of corprus, because a bug in the dwarf's text wont allow you to get the boots from him for Fyr after he has activated the wraithguard. And then you run the risk of getting corprus and never getting a cure.

FWIW, what MaxSkills said is true on the PC as well.
