A small hack that I made...

(http://www.centsible.com/random/ring.zip) Here is a small hack I made for Arx Fatalis. It is a ring of enhancement, which will not only boost many stats to an incredible level, but bestows complete invisibility as well. Unzip to your Arx folder, making sure to extract the folder structure in the zip. To recieve the ring in-game, merely frob the one chair behind the table in the goblin jail (where you first escape). Just equip the ring, and the effect is immediate. If the invisibility wears off for any reason, just re-equip the ring to restore it. The ring will also completely replenish your health and mana at all times.

hmmm... that sounds kinda similar to the "cheat" (presented in easter-egg style) that is mentioned in the (http://arx.rpgdot.com/files/Arx_Guide_v1.zip) Arx Guide put out by (http://arx.rpgdot.com) ARX.RPGDOT.com[SPOILER]Cheat:

Arx Fatalis is a game with many puzzles and even the cheat proves to be a puzzle, not just a simple console command. At the beginning of the game, after you have escaped your cell and have fought the first goblin, you see a table and a chair. In the corner are two bones. Take the left bone and use it 10 times on the chair next to the table and you will get some nice inventory, including a meteor saber and full Ylside’s Armor. You also get some nice invetory tokens, which are being used and/or activated with the right mouse button and have to be used on the chicken icon then to activate its function. So you can switch to different states of gameplay, different character roles and different inventory items![/SPOILER]I haven't tried it though it's something I'll do after I've played the game all the way through at least once. :)

This is...hmm...a replacement fer that cheat MsLedd. :) And you only need to frob the chair, not that other silly ritual. This is to have fun after you beat the game. You wanna rob everybody in Arx while still be considered the greatest guy alive, use the ring. You wanna go toe-to-toe with the black beast and stay alive, use the ring. Ylsides, Liches, and Demons are to be laughed at with the ring.

It makes screwing around with Arx all that more fun.
