Well, that's the thing, isn't it? Either you were the Nerevar Incarnate, meaning you were the Nerevarine from the start, or you're a false Nerevar (namely, someone in the right place at the right time.) I think Divayth Fyr tried to allude to that since it was his cure that gave you immunity, whereas the Nerevar should have been immune from the start.

Nah, that part of the prophecy comes true because you are cured from the bad parts of Corprus, but still retain the live forever part. So until then, you can die of old age.

Well, since you help run the Imperial Library, I'll accept your words as true. Much better than my patchwork mind held together with nothing but twine and pieces of grass.
While we're on this semi-relevant subject, I was pretty surprised that Eno Romari and his End of Times cult in Mournhold actually predicted the events of Oblivion. It makes you wonder if their cult will be a prevalent thing in the game. If not, then it seems Bethesda was giving us a full-blown hint as to Oblivion but not telling us!

Yeah, Eno does appear to be right, but that doesn't really surprise me too much. They generally put various hints in.
Take Wulf, for example. He's an aspect of Tiber Septim who comes to 'wish you luck' by giving you that lucky coin. That hints at the fact that important people that appear in history are actually powerful beings or Gods that appear in 'mortal' form.
A more explicit example is Hunding. The Imperial Library has this about the Yokudan Gods:
(
http://til.gamingsource.net/gods/yokuda.shtml) HoonDing (The Make Way God)
Quote:
Yokudan spirit of 'perseverance over infidels'. The HoonDing has historically materialized whenever the Redguards need to 'make way' for their people. In Tamrielic history this has only happened three times-twice in the first era during the Ra Gada invasion, once during the Tiber War.
In this last incarnation, the HoonDing was said to have been either a sword or a crown, or both.(Bolding mine)
In the game Redguard, you get a soul gem that contains the Prince's Soul, and you try to transfer the soul back into his body (that's in statis). Thing is, his soul enters the sword instead. Sword I tells you!
So yeah, there are plenty of hints if you know where to look.

Just out of curiosity, where do I find that murderer in Vivec whose been slaughtering people and slashing throats? And even more importantly, was anyone disturbed by Cassio Curio's "request" when you try to be adopted into his House?

If you head to the underworks somewhere, there's a chick with a dagger that attacks you.
And not really. Uncle Crassius is awesome.
Pisces on 14/12/2005 at 22:44
Foriegn Quarter underworks in fact. From memory atleast, it was one of those places where Mr Ordinator said there was attacks and it definitly wasn't Hlaalu and I'm fairly sure it was Arena so by elimiation it should be foreign.
On a semi related offtopic question, you know those keys you can collect of the sixth house people in Vivec? (those sixth house prophets in random sewers and such) Does anyone know where those keys are for?
Yorkist on 15/12/2005 at 23:02
Yeah I found some of those keys too but havent been able to make anything of them. I just store them all in a box in that murdered hlaalu counsel's house in Balmora that I've shacked up in...maybe thell be useful. I thought I checked foreign quarter underworks but maybe I didnt so I'll try again. BTW, has anyone ever accidently solved a quest that you didnt know was a quest till later? Once I broke into Half troll's home and killed all his rats, only to find out later that I needed to save some of them to finish a hlaalu mission.
