The most anticipated movie of the year for me is LITTLE MAN. Those Wayans brothers aren't ever wrong.

[QUOTE=]KeanuI don't have too high opinion on him either, but he had some good moments... like My Own Private Idaho. Perhaps he's one of those actors who need a good director who can wring the best out of them, or are good in specific roles.
In The Matrix he was like a weak butter, but he didn't have much to act in the first place, just walk around with cluesless "WAHT" facial expression and kick butts.
Similarly I gave a credit to Cruise after I saw Interview with an Vampire and DiCaprio for Gangs of New York. They played roles which haven't been in accordance with their stereotypical image of sweet boys and I think they did their parts good. Perhaps Arctor will be a similar "demythizing" role for Reeves?

I can't remember the name of the film, but he did one when he was younger where he becomes a street kid after taking drugs in a basketball game or something. I do remember liking the film a lot though.
You're thinking of The Basketball Diaries.

I just watched the first 22 minutes of it on ign.com, and it really does seem like a pretty cool movie. The animation style sort of brings the movie down overall, but serves it's purpose. It just seems to lower the color quality and makes the movie look muddy. And the voice and action synchronization is bad. Keanu seems pretty good at his part though. Best performance I've seem from him. Forgetting that the rotoscope effect is to simulate being high, but still it results in loss of many fine details and makes it look like a shitty cartoon. Almost mistook this to be Kid's Story from the Animatrix. I liked Wankin'-Life way better.
