Okay. In the outdoors of Cairo on the way to the Nassif Greenhouse, there are three guys and one behind you that stop you in the street and demand that you give them 200 or so credits so they can buy breathmasks for their children. At that point in the game, if you have been doing all the gopher-quests and hacking atms with hack-level 3 200 is little more than pocket change to you. Do you give them the money or not?

I gave them money and actually felt pretty holy for doing so. All through the game I tried to do what I thought was right if I was actually there and it was the real world I was in.

I killed them. While i probably would have given them money in real-life, as I am not a nano-augmented superman that is armed to the teeth; were I as powerful as A. Denton in real life, I dont think they deserve to have my money. Armed robbers do not earn my respect.

I always give them the money, and then they manage to go get themselves burned on the fire barrels. Then they die. ("It Burns!") Idiots.

I payed them, but I only had to pay 150, not 200. Is this because my character is female?
sergeantgiggles on 15/2/2004 at 20:43
Maybe, but i probably just forgot. Stuff from IW doesnt stand out quite as much as DX stuff.
"I got a LAM. Know how much that is? Seven-fittee."

I gave the money too, and they then burnt themselves. Annoying how you can't get your money back tho...
