He never said you couldn't make your life TOO interesting

Stitch is right though, of course this isn't a matter of sexay. I was more or less joking about that part. Anyway, I'll see the next flat tomorrow. Again a share with one woman, 21yo. The ad says 'pets allowed'.

Well then, I foresee no problems! Just make sure you don't forget the leather collar. :p
Kolya on 3/4/2009 at 16:45
She could still say No smoking!, the ad says nothing about that part.
I know I'm a hard case: Male, smoking, cat owner, likes his rock music loud. :D

Hopefully you, and she or whoever it ends up being, is not the kind of person who needs a place to be absolutely spotless all the time "for their mental wellbeing".
Because that sucks.
Muzman on 3/4/2009 at 17:23
Do consider the possibility that you find her unrelentingly horrible at first sight and/or she's taken and you'll have to listen to her at it, late at night when hubby drops in and you're trying to sleep.
I know the screwball romance version is more fun to think about but...

OK, I'm hard of reading tonight.
Anyway, and I'm sure everyone's aware of this really, but I don't think I've ever had a housemate good or bad where you could tell all the shit that would drive you crazy from the interview. I don't know why we often delude ourselves with this practice, but it is kinda funny. Hopefully the probation period is over early and people can relax and be their irritating selves without delay. Too much long winded politeness and it's more of shock when it eventually happens yasee.

I did have a girlfriend at the time, but even had I been single that's one enormous adventure for which I would have been hesitant to sign up.
First, Indy IV sucks, and now this. WHO ARE YOU.
Forget these idiots Kolya, and stick it in her pooper I say. That has been the stalwart advice on ttlg about relationships from the very beginning and it has always served us well.
PigLick on 3/4/2009 at 21:45
can I ask where you are currently living?

And of course I would gladly accept the advice, or Queue's tie-her-down-and-do-as-you-please method (What's the safe word!?). But it's not a
relationship I'm after. It's just that I knew my chances to get that flat were slim, so I counted my options.
PigLick: PM'ed.
Oh well, tomorrow I'll see Maruscha so there's still that chance. (Something about that name is weirdly enticing. Like a Russian night club dancer.)
Harvester on 3/4/2009 at 23:46
Marusha was a pretty well known rave DJ/composer from Germany during the 90s. You must have heard of her. Among other things she did a rave version of 'Somewhere over the rainbow'.
