Everyone knows, and everyone knows that everyone knows. Except for the people who really have no idea. In this case there is only one of them. Can you guess who it is?
Then tell me what inspired LGS decision to rip Garretts eye out, because Im certainly not going to tell *you*! Does this mean the truce is off? :ebil:

Once again, they've never said they've stripped magic out of the game completely, rather they're downplaying it so it's tucked away in the dark corners of the world. IE the no mages shooting fireballs at you and whatnot.
So, I guess that means dragons are out of the question, huh?
Well dang.
;)

Schmidt keeps getting quoted as saying the player, not NPCs, won't be shooting fireballs. His choice of words is in question regarding fireballs, not who's doing the shooting. Does he mean we won't be launching fire arrows, or does he mean we won't be shooting [at] Fire Elementals which are shaped like spheroids of flame?
Dia on 25/4/2013 at 02:08
Wait. Are the Elementals considered magic or mysticism? Did EM give us their definitions of magic and mysticism and I missed it? (Again.)
Vae on 25/4/2013 at 02:09
Elementals, are creatures of Elemental Magic.
jtr7 on 25/4/2013 at 02:20
We don't have their definition, Dia. I'd like to know that as soon as possible. Just the emptiness of the screenshots is disturbing. There are more scaffolds and dangling ropes than Thiefisms.

Dragons don't matter none. The important thing is will there be burricks?

Your self-congratulatory post masturbation at the fact that you once read something about LGSs inspiration for the eye-loss event is equally sad and irrelevant.
Dia was talking about how Garrett lost his eye in Thief lore.
No one cares for your "esoteric", and by that please feel free to read "obsessive and sad", knowledge of how many sugars Eric Brosius likes in his tea.
And you tell me if the truce is off - you're the one regurgitating garbage.

Actually, I would be interested in knowing how many sugars Eric Brosius likes and if it is indeed tea or coffee that he prefers. :erm:

Coffee in the morning, Arabic roast, freshly ground beans. Two cups, black. Orange and black pekoe blend (Lipton, brewed strong, is fine), with a squeeze of real lemon, and three packets of Stevia. Hot if he's going to be singing, iced if not. As needed, but not after 10PM without a Prilosec.
Wanna see Randy Smith's (

strep throat?
I don't know why these things pop up every time I look for dev interviews about Thief. *shrug*
Still waiting to see if Matt Weisse will do more podcasts even though he's no longer at MIT gaming lab.
