Hello again,
It's me, Tony. A few changes I made now. My MOD is completely done. These ar the final changes (more explaination now):
>Night Vision (a "noshadow" light that AIs cannot see, attached to Mechanical Eue)
>Third Person Animations in First Person Perspective.
>Improved Body Awareness (i.e. new headbobbing, more natural movements, etc.)
>Minimalist Improvement.
>Changes with Default.INI. (default changes).
> Some of John P's Textures.
I's like to give screenshots, but I don't know how to put them in this forum...
Regards,
T.W.Ayalew.
P.S.: Does anyone know a good upload site for something of 10 MB?

You can use imageshack.us to send the photos and then paste the BBcode for thumbnails here :) As for the hosting, (
http://sendspace.com/) is exactly up to 300 mb.

So you didn't added animations in the Garrett's playlist, you just changed them... OK, this is possible.

Whoa, this surely deserves a separate thread, Tony - feel free to create one, with screenshots, please :)

You don't have to, as you see, Digi did it for you :)

No, even simpler: I made a copy of Garrett's third person skeletal animations, and gave it the name of the first person skeletal animations. Easy!

Tony Ayalew, you must get permission from other authors if you want to use their material in their mods. I am not sure how other communities do things in other games, but I wouldn't want to promote something that contained John-p's work unless John-p gave it his blessings.
Also, john-p's texture packs are enormous. I'd recommend you focus your MOD on the new work you've done, rather than make 95% of the download size be another MOD that's been available for years.
Hello,
I understand your criticism. - but don't worry. I've got FULL PERMISSION of John - P (John Petter Mork) and New Horizon (Tim Gormley). You can ask them yourself. And the textures HAVE been changed, but still based on their works. And only 25% of my MOD are the John's textures. 5% of the minimalist project and 70% is my own work.
So, don;t worry. :thumb:

T.W.Ayalew.

Including JohnP textures would mean to re-build the ibt files (which is easy) with them (which is easy as well but increases the file size significantly). I'd think about it for a moment. Maybe setting T3Ed back to its standard texture palette might prove better.
OK

Left aside the sense in this, with the TDS script system you can basically do anything the game allows after any condition the game knows about. So you can delete the whole non-brush architecture plus AIs if Garrett is seen by a guard or you can make anyone run across the map twenty seconds after a random number has been calculated or...whatever. You can change the screen tinting (like in the Cradle) for night vision (although I don't know how he did this) and I believe camera settings are even in the ini files. You can let the bow targeting mode be inherited from 3rd person (although you cannot aim properly I guess), so I guess technically there's no problem.
Hello,
I only used a few scripts for my mOD. Most is based from the engine. I didn't delete anything. Only add things. The night vision is a light source whith the property "weight=0"whioch means that the light gem is not affected by this. And I solved the targeting by using the "wall flatten idl" as the default idl in first person (with playeranimations.ini).

Whoa! Heh heh. Maybe we see Garrett see himself through a Keeper's eyes. Or maybe it's a typo.
Hello!!
First: DON'T USE THOSE WORDS!
Second: Sorry, but I meant third person. Just a type mistake.
Third: I have a new MOD discription in this thread for that mistake.
