Anyone who used my MOD on their Thief 3 game, can put their comments, opinions, questions, etc. in this thread. My MOD is currently hosted my two sites (see above post).

I'm sure people know this, but as I told you months ago...this Mod might not go over so well. Could also be that people just haven't had time to try it yet, or haven't had time to comment.

Hello,
I was thinking about what New Horizon said earlier. I did some crazie things with the editor here and there, and I think i could make my MOD in such a way that it still feels more like the orginal games. I know I intended this MOD mostly for myself and durtbag, but I don't see the harm in updating my MOD a bit. Here's what I've done:
> The night vision doesn't spread a green light, instead I chose a white-gray light. It looks better and less SFX-style.
>I remade the animations of blackjack and dagger in such a way that the animations won't move the camera, and still be very human. Als, the animations now follow the camera again.
>I made the light of the fire arrow shorter in radius.
Sounds better, right?
Regards,
Tony.:angel:

The gamma settings are way off, it's like 95% darkness, text isnt even readable. Easy to fix so no problem just thought i'd tell you.
Win7 doesnt seem to like Thief3 at all :/ will experiment further, maybe more stable in some compatible mode..

He knows. His mod requires setting the brightness slider higher.

Anyone know of a mod that shrinks the hud? I mean it's HUGE in 1920x1080, really immersion breaking. I wish it was at least 50% smaller.

You can do it manually if you look through the t3ui.ini file in notepad and change the scale of the parts you want smaller. Takes some trial and error, but it's satisfying to figure this stuff out yourself.
For example:
[LightGem]
Type=T3LightGemWindow
Placement_X=CENTER
Placement_Y=BOTTOM
Pos_Y=-50
Pos_Z=10
Scale_X=1.0
Scale_Y=1.0
Scale_Z=1.0Active=VISIBLE
ChildWindow_0=LightGemLight
ChildWindow_2=LightGem_Case
ChildWindow_1=LightGem_Gem
[LightGemLight]
Type=LightWindow
Color_R=255
Color_G=255
Color_B=255
Color_A=255
MinRange=0
MaxRange=250
Pos_Z=10
Active=VISIBLE
[LightGem_Case]
Type=ActorWindow
Active=VISIBLE
Scale_X=1
Scale_Y=1
Scale_Z=1Rot_Yaw=16384
Pos_Z=-10
ActorVisibleName_Normal=LightGem_Case
[LightGem_Gem]
Type=ActorWindow
Active=VISIBLE
Scale_X=1
Scale_Y=1
Scale_Z=1Pos_X=0
Pos_Z=15
Rot_Yaw=16384
ActorVisibleName_Normal=LightGem
