However, you can re-create your health potions. Just edit some file ((
http://www.mythicsoft.com/agentransack/) Agent Ransack rules :'DD):
add these rows to Books\English\String_Tags\Inventory.sch:
Quote:
t_HealthPotion2
lang_english 2004-02-29 21:48:00 "Health Potion"
lang_french 2004-04-15 18:37:06 "Potion médicinale"
lang_german 2004-03-20 17:14:06 "Heiltrank"
lang_italian 2004-03-25 07:27:15 "Pozione curativa"
Copy the file InvHelp_HealthPotion.sch, rename the copy InvHelp_HealthPotion2.sch, and substitute the text with this:
(
http://rapidshare.com/files/244482709/InvHelp_HealthPotion2.sch.html) http://rapidshare.com/files/244482709/InvHelp_HealthPotion2.sch.html
and copy the archetype of the health potion, assigning it these files.

hi massi and everyone else who's reading ths,
i already fixed it. I made a "fake" helth potion. Now th ibt kernel works perfect. but i still thank you for the advice, even though i don't need it anymore.
i do have another question: The HUD light gem textures are in both each mission and in the kernel files. The training mission (inn) loads mine hud light gem, stored in Kernel. But the castle mission loads the hud light gem textures of its own. I don't know why hud light gems (1 to 16) are stored in each mission AND in Kernel, it seems a waste of space if you ask me.
Anyway, I would like to know why the hud's are in both IBT Files and how I can make the mission load the Kernel HUD (that's mine HUD) instead of their own. I mean- if the training mission can "listen" to the Kernel, than why can't the other missions?
The ligh gems 1 to 16 have been tweaked by me to make it more readable: In the blackness I created, the light gem also darknes. But the bright colors I use prevents this. That's why I tweaked them. Just so you know.
Regards,
Tony Ayalew.
PS: Night vision is still garrett's mechanical eye.

Hi everyone,
Good news: mod's complete, I have send my MOD to Adam-C who will test it. He will then tell me what he thinks of it. The MOD is 11MB, which should be easy to upload. While uploading, I will disable fire wall (like New Horizon advised me).
More good news: I passed my exams. With great results. I'm very proud of it. So, exams done, MOD's done. I will go on a vacation soon. I hope to publish my MOD when I come back.
If anyone has any questions, please ask them.

This is what Adam C thought about my MOD, after testing it:Okay, I've tested it. I'm not sure if you are done with the mod, or if you are waiting for a critique so that you can make changes, but what I have to say is this:
The Good:
1. First person dagger assassinations look awesome
2. Night Vision is extremely useful
3. First person blackjacking is a joy
4. Lockpicking without the HUD is much more enjoyable
5. The new game modes are challenging and fun to play
6. The 3rd person animations in first person are cool to watch.
7. The new gravity is much more realistic and it's hilarious to chuck a defeated opponent down the stairs
8. The new lighting is much more believable and making yourself invisible is realistically difficult, and when you are "invisible" you are actually invisible, thanks to the improved gamma.
9. The fire arrow glow effect looked a lot better in-game than it did in the screen shot, and it's really cool to fire it off down a street and watch all of the lighting react
10. The difficulty levels are great because it makes stealth crucial to the missions
The Not So Good:
1. Having the water, gas, and moss arrows expose the player completely is bothersome because the idea of those arrows is stealth. I would suggest removing the intense glow that they give off and just leaving them as they were. Although their glowing figures should do something to get the player spotted, kind of like what you did the with the broadhead, but perhaps raise it a little.
2. Bow animations are delayed and are off center, which makes it difficult to aim. Perhaps you could replace this new animation with the original 1st person animations, but keep the 3rd person animations for everything else?
3. Food is good, but finding the mechanical eyes instead of health potions is a bit awkward. Maybe you could replace a less useful item like the Holy Water with the mechanical eye so that it doesn't show up as often
4. Is it possible to keep the wall hugging as it was before?
5. Food is a little bit too healthy. I found about fifteen water bottles and I was practically invincible. I would suggest that you lower the health crystal regeneration to about 1 crystal per item, or put a smaller limit on how many food items you can carry
Other than these small frustrations, I was hardly disappointed by your work. Great job! And thanks for mentioning me in the readme, I'm glad I could help

Exaclty 1 hour ago, I made two changes to my MOD:
hi everyone im new here and i just thought a while ago i was downloading one of john ps garrett mods (not the entire game mod) and it during installing it had a page with boxes that you could tick to select what you wanted on the mod etc box> [] garrett bow textures
and so on maybe you could add this to your mod so that people can select the partd of the mod that they want and the parts that they do want just an idead :thumb:

Sorry New Horizon, And sorry all people.
I was just a bit frustated. I will try to listen and check it out. But from what I've seen in my tests: GMP files + Editor is more than enough to play Thief 3 (In fact: loading times are lightly faster without IBT Files).
Still, Im Sorry.
Hey, I just got an idea: Does anyone know a free screen recorder? I have Fraps, but it's limited to 30 seconds. That way, I can show it!

download hypercam 2 it doesnt need to be registered and it has a long lasting time and is simple to use:):thumb::cool:
