Can you please give one more list of the changes you made? On the screenshots it just looks like green night vision and strange white coats (?) for the thugs.

That's a big list...
>Fully functional night vision.
>I have put 3rd person animations in the 1st person perspective. Now, the first person feels a bit like “Mirrors Edge”.
>I have set the anchoroffset to actorheight=0.1. This allows you to see more of Garrett's body in 1st person, and also fixes some minor problems.
>I have improved some animations, which will proof for a MUCH better body awareness.
>Jump Height and Jump Z set to “90”.
>Brightness and contrasts disabled and tweaked so they make everything that's dark darker and light lighter.
>Garrett will now creep (sneak) faster, but will still be completely silent.
>When you change the brightness, you are actually only changing the gamma.
>Better Gamma.
>I changed all configuration settings as a default, so Thief will run with a higher quality AND have a better performance.
>Changed the default settings.
>Enhanced gravity and jumping
>Climbing Gloves are availbale when you recieve your lockpicks during the trainingmission.
>Removed Mechanical Eye Overlay.
>New HUD.
>New Playstyles difficulty settings: MoneyMaker(easy); NORMAL(normal); Assassins(hard); DearDevil(Expert).
>Eatable food. I had to do this since the night vision replaces the health potion.
>Improved lightning effects. See screenshots.
>All Garrett and HUD textures have been improved, based on John-P's work.
>All Videotextures recombined to give a Thief 1 feeling. So, every "Hammer" mission will have the "hammer_intor.bik" video, same goes for every pagan and keeper mission. And, at the end of the first training mission you'll a new video.
PLEASE NOTE: My MOD is compatibel with almost every other MOD, But be forwarned: You must first install the other MOD before installing my MOD. Otherwise, my MOD won't work properly - if not at all.
IMPORTANT TIP: Install both John-P's textures and the Miniamlist BEFORE installing my MOD. Than install my MOD. Combining these MOD's, you'll have the best Thief 3 experince one could ever have!!! (at least, I think so).
I hope I have informed you well.

That being said. I'm curious to see how these animations are improved and if they do indeed make first person control a lot better.
Where's the download link?

I haven't seen that in action yet, but if this is in unreal units, then it might be a bit too much. Garrett is 96 UU tall, and it's kinda rare that a human can jump at his height from a standstill, even if he is a master thief ;)

Hello judith,
This is in -what the game calls- "Unreal Units". Garrett's normal jump was 56UU. The new one is 90UU. I have a specific reason to do this: In some occasions - i.e. when Garrett jumps from one rooftop to another - you'll need to jump very far, which can only be done with perfect timing. When jump height and Z is bigger, it will be slightly easier for Garrett to reach the next rooftop. There are some other occasions where you need to jump to high places, which is only possible by climbing on a box and than jump. But when you use your dagger on it, and the box breaks, how you´re getting up.
I included the climbing gloves during the training missions for the same reason as for the big jumg: Making it easier for Garrett to reach places.
Regards,
Tony. :cheeky:
PS: I hope you're going to like my MOD.

Hello New Horizon,
If you want a download link, you might consider helping me with either uploading big files or sending big files trough e-mail (big as in 30MB). Because my PC will abort any internet transfer that takes too long. You told me to try to disable Firewall, but isn't that dangerous for my PC?
regards,
Tony.

Put it on a USB stick and get someone else to upload it.

I am skeptical, 'cuz I worked weeks on changing the gravity setting, following the unreal tutorials, and no changes came out. Thief 3 lacks of the proper libraries for changing the gravity, I guess.
Could you tell me how did you get it? Tell me the specific techincal changes, so I can orientate myself.
@ New Horizon: that horrible chinese is worst even than the guitar twangings. I wonder why some people act like this in front of the cameras.
