Absolutely brilliant! :laff: I think I might put this into my signature. Thank you for a good laugh :)

OK, my English isn't perfect, so let me get this straight::angel:
1. I (tony, me) tell Judith to be nicer and to read better before criticising.
2. Massimilianogoi supports me.
3. Judith finds this whole situation humoristic.
4. Judith turns out to be a male.
Is this correct? Because the following things are strange to me:
>Did massi mean I'm never nice, or did massi mean Judith's never nice?
>If massi meant Judith, than Judith must be a male (massi says "he"). I thought Judith was a female's name... (no offense).

Could we just assume for a moment that we're all nice and pretty people (or pretty nice people, either way)...?
I don't know if anyone's happy to get 210MB via e-mail. Use some hosting service like rapidshare, file...front or something...? so you'll have it on a server for everybody. And if that thing's up there, we'll talk about e.g. different ways to distribute your mod or what we like to use in T3Ed etc. etc..

Sure: Everyone's nice and pretty or visa versa. I'll keep that in mind.

I don't know of many email services that will allow you to send 200 meg emails....most are locked at 10 or 20 meg attachments. If your system is timing out after ten minutes of uploading, try to figure out why. Call your ISP, see if they have any ideas.
Are you using a wireless connection? Firewalls? Some firewalls can cause your connection to time out. I used to see that a lot when I worked in tech support, especially with folks who were running two firewalls such as windows firewall and some other software on top of it. No better way to kill your internet connection.
Also make sure your system isn't crippled by too many things running in the background.
Click 'Start', 'Run' and type msconfig in the run box. hit 'enter'. Then go to the startup tab. It's pretty safe to uncheck everything under the startup menu. Take note of anything that you absolutely want to startup when you turn on your computer.
Anyway, I honestly don't understand why including the editor is still being considered. The steps in how to do this have been spelled out many times in the thread.

Like I said at least 3 times earlier, I have found a way to create my MOD without the need of the editor. [...] It saves me a lot of uploading time when people need to download the editor theirselves.
As long as you write things like this which seem to contradict themselves (there is no "theirselves", by the way) it's obvious that people will ask again and again. So you still need editor content? Just include it, anything else is rubbish.

Exactly Beleg. The posts go one way and then another.

Ok, no editor needed.

The reason there is still consideration wether I do or do not ask people to download the editor is (and I also said this at least 3 times): It saves me a lot of uploading time when people need to download the editor theirselves. Besides, without the editor I will have to do a lot less to compress things.
Ok, editor might still be needed.
Your posts are totally unclear. First you say the editor isn't needed, but now you say that it's going to save you uploading time to have people download the editor themselves.
If the thread is going in circles it is through nobody's fault but your own. Everyone here has been trying to help point you in the right direction and give you a reasonable way to package the Mod, but either through your own lack of experience in modding or stubbornness...you continue to bang your head against the wall and completely confuse everyone.

And it's FARE MORE usefull than the (unusual)
Patchwise system. I hate patchwise.
I don't mean to be rude Tony, but patchwise is far from unusual...patching is an industry STANDARD.
All professional gaming companies use patching programs just like this at one time or another. (
http://www.pocketsoft.com/rtpatch.htm) RTPATCH is just one such professional patching program. I believe it's what was used for the one and only patch ion Storm made for T3. Patching is how companies release incremental updates without having to include 3/4's of the original file content, whenonly a minor change was made. If patchwise didn't work for you, then you did something wrong...simple as that. I've used patchwise, rtpatch and other programs for projects both large and small over many years. They're absolutely simple to use.
