Well....no. If it's just a modification I wouldn't want to get the editor as well. That's app. 300MB (or even 500?) extra and makes it bigger without any necessity.
Editor is not required.

I don't think you understand what I did in my MOd; Editor is required!
:laff: I smell a great pastiche.......

Oh, sorry, your first post read like:

I have created a new MOD for Thief 3.
And not:

I have created a new MOD for you three guys with the T3Ed installed.

This is all very confusing.
Will people need to download the editor to play your mod, or will we just need Thief 3?

If you mean that we'll need T3ED installed, then what prevent us from playing without the editor?
Is some files from the editor necessary for the mod to run?
If so, you could probably include only those files in your mod.
Or do we need to play the mod through the editor itself?
Either way, I think you could exclude the editor from your mod, just be sure to tell clearly that the it's needed.
That would (in my opinion) make it faster and easier to upload, download and install.

At last, a use for the tag system. ;)

I see you are confused. I will explain: Editor not required.

BY the way, these are the folders and files I changed:
>The complete System folder (this is kind of the HQ for all changes).
>SkeletalAnimations (this is the secret for succes to make the "Third person animations and movements" in the First person perspective).
>Triggerscripts (this is the secret to make night vision).
>Books (this contains all changed texts).
Bye,
T.W.Ayalew.

You need to remove all IBt files (the RTF document explains this).
How the hell T3 is supposed to run without any cooked/published map files?

Create new ones I guess. :weird:
Still, this is a bit strange (and we're probably less confuesd than you might think, Tony). If it's a mod for T3 you better provide new ibt files which in the end results in less MB than asking the users to 1. download T3Ed, 2. download your extra content and 3. create new mission files themselves.
If it's on the other hand interesting content for us T3 mappers, you'd be better of with providing only necessary files and tutorials (and demos!) so we can re-build this in our missions. But at the moment you're either trying to sell a Thief 3 mod to a community largely unable/unwilling to download all the MB and do complicated stuff with it...... or you're trying to sell us T3Edders a funny mod that we will surely not use completely, but which would mess up all our directories which are two things that'll keep us from installing it.
And to make it sound less negative: We'd really like to see your changes in a demo and would be glad if we could use some of the stuff in our own FMs. :)
