Ok need guidence!
Do you think my new computer which is:
AMD 965 125w (processor)
IRASUS Crosshair III Formula AMD Motherboard
Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
8800 gtx (nvidia)
....Will run windows Xp? or do I have to stick with vista or windows 7?
Or should I just reformat the hard drive with vista on it and reinstall theif 2 and see if that works?
OR should I run a dual OS, one with vista and the other with Xp?
OR should i try seeing if the onboard graphics system will work so I can by pass my graphics card
Right now I cant even get the dam installer to run!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And for the secound question.
What is the lowest end PCI Express graphics card that will support this type of legacy game?

Its a very good spec you have there, It will run Xp just fine, along with Vista and 7. I am running Thief 1/2/3 under Windows 7 and have run them under Vista and Xp.
And what installer are you having probs with..

I am running through the cd installer, now I thought of another way to do it, could I run the windows program that allows another computer to access another computer(usually used for troubleshooting) that has thief 2 on it and play iT?

Go to Start, then Run, then type d:\setup.exe -lgntforce, where d:\ is your CDrom/DVDrom drive
