Eavesdropping is really bad for speedrunning because of the conversation. To get the best time you will have to make a savegame at the very start of the mission, listen to the conversation to know where the right key is. If the key is in a good position (on normal the pulpit is a good location), you can run the mission starting from the savegame. Else, do it over again. I've tried eavesdropping a couple of times on normal and the best I got was 7:50, easy to improve though.
The bank is pretty straightforward, although you do have to get into the basement in the patched version. While you're on your way back to the vault you can get a key from a guard in the great hall. This key unlocks the metal door to the south of the vault. Unpatched is way faster though.
In Blackmail get two fire arrows and an invisibility potion at the loadout screen. Then as soon as the mission starts shoot a rope arrow just above the watcher. Climb up and unlock the gate. Enter the foyer and blast open the double doors with the fire arrows. Ditch the chasing guards by drinking the potion. This way, you'll have no trouble grabbing the small vase from the bedroom and raiding the game room. Grab the loot around the swimming pool and the silver gear. Get up to the third floor, get the evidence and the bronze gear from Truart's bedroom and exit via the curved stairs with a door locked by a bronze gear at the base of it. Raid the foyer before you leave the mansion. You need to get out to the streets, but for some reason about half of the time the gate is closed again. If it's closed it will take you about three seconds more. On normal this can be done in 2:16.
On the other difficulties you'll need some more loot though. In the house you're standing next to at the beginning is 125 loot(?) you could also pick up. You might also consider to quaff an invisibility potion when you enter the foyer and get a key from one of the guards (should be heading upstairs at that moment). With that key, you can open the south door which leads you a room with a gold bottle (50 loot) and some plates (30 loot) you can pick up on your way to the dining room. The stuff on the dining table is worth 200 loot. Then get the gear from the guard and proceed to the second floor.
The major shortcuts in these missions are forcing open the (metal) doors with fire arrows, however, I suspect this might only work with the Sold Out version, because I do have another version in which it doesn't work. :(

I could also make a new topic. This thread is supposed to be about Thief vids and not speedrunning.

Lighting is ugly. Is this some kind of Thievery project?
