Anyway, I've seen that "angry german kid plays thief" video. That's an edit of the original one. He was actually playing unreal tournament. Though I thought it was a good edit of the original.:laff:

I wanted to make a thief video. Fraps 1.9 is about 30$ (otherwise I only get 30 seconds of footage), and I'm not willing to spend that right now. Where can I find a free video capture program? (I hear Fraps 1.6 is free, but I can't find it anywhere) Thanks!

1.9? 1.6? Don't you mean 2.9.6?:confused: The latest is 2.9.6, and I don't see anything about free fraps on the site. Unfortunately, the only other video capture program i know of is (
http://www.planetgamecam.com) GameCam. That one also has a purchase version, but the free version, IIRC (I don't use it anymore) has unlimited recording, but audio is not allowed in the trial. Though that could have changed by now. Then there's xfire, which is actually an instant messenger for gamers, but it has capture built into it.:cheeky:
OOPS! I forgot about (
http://camstudio.org/) CamStudio. CamStudio is a freeware screen recording program, and while it is meant for the desktop, it has a full screen option. Worth a shot. I actually tested it myself and it works with thief 2.. Only drawback for me was the laggyness. You may have better luck. You can also tell it whether you want audio recorded or not, and what codec/quality you want.
