Hi, John, and thanks for your prompt reply.
I figured out what was going on -- I was misinterpreting the map, thinking there were more areas to explore. Actually I had already been through everywhere -- a couple of times over -- without realizing it. The only reason the mission hadn't already ended was that I was short on loot.
All of that is now solved, and I am on to ALS2.

The main problem I seem to have is that in the beginning...I seem to only have about 3 to 5 seconds before she gets killed, not nearly enought time to[SPOILER]get thru the floor and out of the cell and save her too, because the guards are right there[/SPOILER]
What's the deal with that?

All you have to do is get the black jack, go to the bedroll, squat, frob the bedroll, jump in the hole, squat again, and go through the tunnel.
I'm sorry that it caused so many problems, but it can be done as one continuous motion.

After coming here to find what to do, I can get the blackjack and out of the cell in about 5 seconds, and the first objective is then marked completed.
But a minute later, about the time I come up in the other room and blackjack the first guard I can see, someone kills Katie down the hall and the mission ends. :confused:

*Resurrecting an abandoned thread* Hey people, I need help on this mission. I can't leave the jail. I went through the cellar to the front-outside of the building but I don't have the key for the frontgate. When I read through this thread i noticed something like a masterkey copy but I haven't found that one... :confused:
Edit: Ok sorry guys... I found it. I am indeed stupid!! :) The woman upstairs had it...

It's been a while since anyone posted in this thread, but I have a quick question or 2, or 5
I'm in the house where you have to break down that door with the blackjack, [SPOILER]and there is the switch in the closet (of Mosley's room?) but it's in "mid air" and not on the wall or anything. When I press the switch, it'll say 'objective complete,' but when I check my objectives, nothing new is checked off on the objectives screen[/SPOILER]
also, is the ring in Bafford's, or did I miss it somewhere else? I haven't entered Bafford's yet (I just knocked out all the guards outside)
and about the shop with the double doors with the sign that says it's closed...is there a way inside? I broke the windows in the back, but I couldn't fit though
last one: are there any lockpicks or rope arrows to be found in this level? There are a few metal doors (mainly outside of Bafford's that I can't open)
