Does anyone here have experience with seeding new torrents, and the time/will to help me with that? At 12 GB, the CoSaS archives are way too big for direct download. And no, I'm not going to winnow them, their chaos is part of their charm. :angel:

Using μTorrent you just go go File > Create new torrent. I'm not sure if it allows you to select a folder, but you can definitely make a zip and select that instead. This may take a long time for a file of that size unless your hard drive is an SSD. You can then upload the torrent file, but it'll only work while your computer is on.
μTorrent is full of ads and upgrade offers, but there are settings to turn them all off: (

I use Transmission, which has a similar command. Nice to see it's so easy. Anyone want to volunteer for preseeding, so that a few people already have it by the time I release the stuff in July?
